History

During the early 1990s, at Fresno State University, seven individuals befriended one another, bonded by similar experiences with the existing organizations on campus.

As they recognized the need for an organization that possessed more continuity and institutional memory, they realized that this could be done within the fraternal structure, just as fraternal organizations had done to support Filipinos during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

On February 16, 1995, this brotherhood became a reality on the campus of the California State University at Fresno. The seven Founding Fathers felt a need to strengthen Pilipino unity. The Founding Fathers believed that this unity could be accomplished by extinguishing the lines between regional, class, and language differences.
